The West Pasco Historical Society is happy to welcome our friends, both old and new, to enjoy the history of our wonderful community. Together we can keep the stories of our past alive while we forge ahead creating new memories. In preserving our posterity, the West Pasco Historical Society and Rao Musunuru Museum is a welcoming place in which everyone can take pride and enjoyment in who we are and where we live.
Our museum has a collection of more than 1,000 artifacts and thousands of photos and documents. From newspapers, to yearbooks to tea kettles, our history is preserved within the walls of our 1915 schoolhouse.
The Historical Society invites authors, politicians, celebrities and longtime residents, to share their stories during events at the Museum and at Peace Hall. There are also social gatherings for our members and concerts in our gazebo.
The Museum also serves as a friendly place to look up family heritage or speak with a local historian. People stop by to look up classmates in our old yearbooks, donate an item to the museum, or share a story of when their grandparents first moved to town.
